Guests at the 013 CIFF This Year: Writer-director Austėja Urbaitė

Another first for the 013 CIFF: a guest from Lithuania! Writer-director Austėja Urbaitė grew up in a small village near Vilnius. Her student short film entitled The Etude (2013) earned considerable attention, and was a prelude to her highly acclaimed debut short The Bridges (2015). Both of these movies received numerous nominations and awards on the film festival circuit. Remember to Blink (2022) is Austėja’s first feature, and she will be with us to introduce her film and participate in a Q&A with the audience afterwards on Thursday, Oct. 19 at 19:00 in Cinema 1. So come and see the film and say hello to our first Lithuanian guest!
