As an adjunct to the 013 CIFF, on Friday, October 20, the festival film Harvest Moon will be shown in combination with delicious dishes carefully prepared by the chefs of Ristobar29. On this special evening you can sit at a cosy table in our second living room: Room X. We invite you to enjoy dinner and a movie in a casual atmosphere, with intimate lighting.
About the table
You will be welcomed in Room X. You can tell the waiter what you want to drink with the main course and dessert. If you would like a nice drink at the start of the film, order at the bar beforehand. The vegetarian main course with selected drink is served approximately 35 minutes after the start of the film. Half an hour before the end of the film it is time for dessert.
If you would like to be part of this exclusive group, book early! There is only room for 10 tables and a maximum of 20 people. The price is €32,50 per person.
About Harvest Moon
Winner of the Audience Award for Most Popular Film in the Vanguard section of the Vancouver International Film Festival last year, Amarsaikhan Baljinnyam’s simple yet extremely moving drama has city-slicker chef Tulgaa (played by the director) leave his job in Ulaanbaatar and return to his roots on the Mongolian Steppe to care for his dying father. Once back home, he encounters Tuntuulei (Tenuun-Erdene Garamkhand), a brash and aggressive ten-year-old boy being raised by his grandparents. When Tulgaa’s father dies, Tulgaa decides to stay and complete the harvest that his father had started—and a tentative bond begins to form between the fatherless boy and the fatherless man… Unfolding against the splendour of the Mongolian Steppe and gorgeously photographed in widescreen by Joshua Fisher, this is a tale for the ages that will reverberate in the minds of festivalgoers long after the screen goes dark.
Als aanvulling op het 013 CIFF programma, zal op vrijdag 20 oktober de film Harvest Moon worden vertoond in combinatie met heerlijke gerechten, zorgvuldig bereid door de chefs van Ristobar29. Tijdens deze speciale avond kunt u plaatsnemen aan een gezellige tafel in onze tweede huiskamer: Ruimte X. We nodigen u uit om te genieten van een diner en een film in een informele sfeer, met intieme verlichting.
Over het arrangement
U wordt verwelkomd in Ruimte X. Bij onze bediening kunt u doorgeven wat u wilt drinken bij het hoofdgerecht en dessert. Als u aan het begin van de film een lekker drankje wilt, kunt u dit vooraf aan de bar bestellen. Het vegetarische hoofdgerecht met geselecteerde drank wordt ongeveer 35 minuten na het begin van de film geserveerd. Een half uur voor het einde van de film is het tijd voor het dessert.
Als u deel wilt uitmaken van deze exclusieve groep, reserveer dan op tijd! Er is slechts plaats voor 10 tafels en maximaal 20 personen. De prijs is €32,50 per persoon.
Over Harvest Moon
Harvest Moon is de winnaar van de Publieksprijs voor de Meest Populaire Film in de Vanguard-sectie van het Vancouver International Film Festival van vorig jaar. Stadschef Tulgaa (gespeeld door de regisseur) heeft zijn baan in Ulaanbaatar opgegeven en keert terug naar zijn roots op de Mongoolse Steppe om voor zijn stervende vader te zorgen. Eenmaal thuis ontmoet hij Tuntuulei (Tenuun-Erdene Garamkhand), een brutale en agressieve tienjarige jongen die wordt opgevoed door zijn grootouders. Wanneer Tulgaa’s vader sterft, besluit Tulgaa te blijven en de oogst te voltooien die zijn vader was begonnen.
