What are the dates for the 013 Cinecitta International Film Festival? The first edition runs from Thursday, October 17 through Sunday, October 20, 2019. What does the ‘013’ stand for? The ‘013’ in the Festival’s name refers to Tilburg’s area code, which is also the city’s affectionate nickname throughout the Netherlands. Where do the Festival screenings take place? All screenings take place at the Cinecitta cinema complex in central Tilburg. The address is Willem II straat 29, 5038 BA Tilburg. See www.cinecitta.nl to explore the splendid venue and its amenities, and to see examples of the art house’s year-round programming. When will I be able to see the complete programme of films? The complete programme of 13 films will go online on this website on Monday, September 9, 2019. A glossy souvenir catalogue (for sale) will be available at Cinecitta on Monday, September 16, and a handy, pocket-sized mini-programme guide with all film information and a screening schedule will be available for free on that same day. When can I see a schedule of film screenings? The complete schedule of films will go online on this website on Monday, September 9, 2019. The souvenir catalogue and the mini-programme guide will also contain complete scheduling information. When and where can I buy tickets? Tickets will be available on this website and at the Cinecitta box-office beginning Monday, September 9, 2019. Given the limited seating in our three screening rooms, Festival patrons are urged to buy their tickets early in order to avoid disappointment. How much are tickets? Regular tickets are €10 euros each, available online and at the Cinecitta box-office. Early-bird tickets, available online and at the Cinecitta box-office from September 9 until September 15, are €8. After September 15, regular ticket prices apply. For further savings, see ‘Can I buy Ticket Packs?’ below. Does the Festival offer a pass for access to all screenings? In this our first year, the Festival is not introducing a pass system, due to limited seating. But you can save money and guarantee access to the films you want to see through the purchase of ‘Ticket Packs’ (see below). Can I buy Ticket Packs? Yes! Three different Ticket Packs are available: Ticket Packs must be purchased in person at the Cinecitta box-office. Due to limited seating, buyers must indicate the films and the screenings they will be attending when purchasing the packs. How do I get updates and the latest information? Check the ‘Festival News’ page on this website, or add your name and email address to our ‘Contact’ list, and we’ll send updates to you. Can I volunteer at the Festival? Yes! We are looking for volunteers to help during the Festival. If you are interested, send an email with ‘013 CIFF Volunteer’ in the subject line to: email@example.com. In exchange for your volunteer hours, you can see free films (if seating is available at Festival screenings). I have mobility problems / I am in a wheelchair. Can I access the Festival? All Festival venues are wheelchair-accessible. Are food and drinks available at the Festival? Yes! The Ristobar, Cinecitta’s bar/restaurant, will be open for anything from a snack to a full sit-down meal during the Festival. Check out the Ristobar on Cinecitta’s website: www.cinecitta.nl If I am late for a screening, can I still enter? In order to provide the highest quality film experience for Festival patrons, there will be no admittance to screenings in progress. Can I get a refund if I miss my screening(s)? All purchases are final upon payment. No refunds or transfers will be made available. Where can I park my bike or car? Cinecitta is just a few minutes walk from Tilburg Central Station. Bike: Stow your bike for free, Monday through Saturday, 7:30am – 10:00pm, and Sunday 10:00am – 7:00pm in the bicycle shed at the Pieter Vreedeplein Square (Entrance on Iron Street). If this is not convenient, the free bicycle storage hill (entrance opposite the hilly church) is an alternative. This is open daily from 7:30am to 4:30am. Car: Park your car in the parking garage at the Pieter Vreedeplein (navigation: Telegraaf straat 20). Opening hours: Monday to Saturday from 7:00am – 4:30am.
